Tiny homes have become popular over the past few years, either because of the rising cost of living or because they encourage living less. Tiny houses make it possible to build your own things, even if the house is only between 100 and 400 square feet.

But while building a functional home can seem like a daunting task, Amazon has stepped in to alleviate the millennial crisis for the masses by making eight of these tiny homes easy and affordable to buy. There are more than two dozen options for DIY tiny house kits on Amazon, including a 113-foot cabin for $5,350 and an indoor cabin for $20,000.
Surprisingly, some Amazon listings say these tiny houses can be built in two days with two people.
Gen Zs, Millennials Are Buying $30,000 Tiny Homes On Amazon
To get an idea of how buying a tiny home on Amazon works, take a look at this “home away from home” sold on Amazon for about $19,000:
This is a tiny house for sale on Amazon – a kit for “getting out of the house” all by itself.
An all-wood house is classified as a dwelling and not a complete dwelling, perhaps because the tiny house comes with only bare materials and few features.
The description says the tiny house is “large enough to be a summer house, granny flat, office or detached home.”

A floor plan for a tiny house reveals something more about its features. The layout is simple: three rooms on the main floor spread over 292 square feet and one bedroom upstairs.
The home also includes a portion of the front deck, optional if you don’t mind the trees outside.
To make the most of a small property, and to make the house easier, there is a shortage of materials. It will be difficult to install a kitchen without gas. Every room in the tiny house has at least one window for natural light to avoid lightning.
To transform a cabin into a living space, Allwood recommends adding electrical appliances for electricity and internet, and insulation for cooler temperatures.

The room is separated, however, by a staircase in the space that leads to a small room above.
The loft is where Allwood announced the bedroom would be. The sloping ceiling creates a powerful possibility of hitting your head – at its height, the room is less than 5 feet high.
Allwood’s listing for the tiny house shows that the house came in three large boxes when it was shipped to you. All the materials needed to build a tiny house can be found in the delivery package: wooden boards and planks, roof shingles and gables, glass panes, nails and screws, and door locks.
Only “very few tools are needed,” Allwood says. For interested buyers with limited building experience, the package comes with “easy-to-use” instructions that should be easy to follow.
Amazon’s Foldable Tiny Home Is The Definition Of Cozy Living
However, it is possible that you need outside expertise to build a tiny house. Small household items come with the carpet, but not the things that are used to build the foundation that makes the house safe and stable.
A foundation made of stone or concrete can add stability to the house, especially if you are trying to build a tiny house on grass (which can be sold in the rain) or on land that is not level. .
This particular home appliance goes for $18,800 on Amazon. The listing shows that the building can take as little as two days with two workers to construct.
But Amazon also sells other tiny houses of various sizes and designs. On the cheaper side, this 113-square-foot apartment goes for $5,350.
