1. Check the open circuit voltage (Voc) on the specification label on the back of the solar panel. Remember this number for later use.
2. Prepare your multimeter to measure DC voltage. To do this, connect the black test lead to the multimeter’s COM terminal. Connect the red test lead to the voltage terminal.
