Amazon prides itself on being an easy-to-use online marketplace for everything you need—and that probably includes tiny homes.

Tiny homes have become increasingly popular in recent years, whether it’s because of rising living costs or because they encourage minimalist living. Tiny homes make it possible to own your own property, even if that home only measures between 100 and 400 square feet.

But while building a functional housing unit can seem like a daunting task, Amazon has stepped in to make a timeless trend available to the masses, making these tiny homes easy to buy and simple to’ w built. There are more than two dozen options on Amazon for DIY tiny house kits, including 113-foot cabins for $5,350 and loft homes for $20,000.
Surprisingly, some Amazon listings say these tiny homes can be built in just two days with two people.

The entire log home is advertised as a cabin rather than a full residence, likely because the tiny home comes with only basic materials and few features.
The tiny house is “large enough to function as a summer house, granny flat, home office, or even a stand-alone office building,” the description says.

The toilet map shows a little more about its specifications. The layout is simple: three bedrooms on the 292 sq ft main floor and an attic loft above.
The home also includes a partially covered front deck, which is optional if you’re not feeling the outdoor wood floors.
In order to make the most of the small property and make the house easy to build, amenities are few. Without gas it would be difficult to set up a kitchen. To compensate for the lack of electricity, each room in the small house has at least one window for natural light.
To turn the cabin into a residence, Allwood suggests adding electricity and internet connections, and insulation for cooler temperatures.

However, the room is divided by the staircase in the middle which leads to the small loft above.
In the loft Allwood advertises the bedroom as one. The sloping roof makes it a high possibility of hitting your head – at its highest height, the room is less than 1.5 meters high.
Allwood’s listing for the tiny house shows that the building comes in three large packages when it is shipped to you. All the materials needed to build the little house apparently come in the package sent: wooden slats and planks, shingles and gables, window panes, nails and screws, and the door lock.
Allwood says only “very little equipment is required.” For the interested buyer with very little building experience, “user-friendly” instructions accompany the kit which should be simple to follow.

However, you may need outside expertise to build the tiny house. The small house kit comes with planks, but not materials to build a foundation which ensures that the house is safe and stable.
Adding a foundation of gravel or concrete can help give the house a stable foundation, especially if you’re trying to build a tiny house on grass (which can soften in the rain) or uneven ground.
This particular tiny home kit costs $18,800 on Amazon. The listing suggests that building the cabin could take just two days with two people working.
But Amazon also sells other tiny houses of various sizes and designs. On the cheaper side, this 113-square-foot one-room cabin costs $5,350.
