Beautiful Prefab Tiny Homes You Can Buy Online In 2023
Amazon prides itself on being the easiest-to-use online marketplace for anything you want—and that seems to include tiny houses.
Tiny houses have become increasingly popular in recent years, either because of the rising cost of living or because they encourage smaller living spaces. Tiny houses can last, even if that house is only between 100 and 400 square feet.

But since building a piece of furniture can be a daunting task, Amazon has stepped in to bring the hot millennial trend to the fore by making these tiny homes easy to buy and easy to make. There are more than two dozen options on Amazon for DIY tiny house kits, including 113-foot cabins for $5,350 and one-bedroom homes for $20,000.
Small House Kits
Surprisingly, some listings on Amazon claim that these tiny houses can be built in two days with two people.
To get an idea of how selling a tiny house on Amazon works, check out this “vacation to a cabin” selling on Amazon for around $19,000:
This is one of the few cabins for sale on Amazon – a DIY “hikers cabin” kit.
An all-wood home is often advertised as a cabin, not a full-fledged home, perhaps because a tiny home comes with exposed materials and limited features.
Tiny House Kit
The small house is “large enough to be used as a summer house, granny flat, home office or private commercial space,” the description reads.
A floor plan for a small house shows more details about its layout. The setup is simple: three bedrooms on the 292-square-foot main floor and a loft bedroom upstairs.
The house also has a covered front deck, which is great if you’re not feeling the hardwood floor outside.
In order to make good use of the limited resources, to make the construction of the house simple, the materials are few. Without ventilation, it is difficult to prepare a kitchen. To compensate for the lack of electricity, every room in the small house has at least one window for natural lighting.

To turn the cabin into an apartment, Allwood suggested adding electrical and internet connections, as well as air conditioning.
The room is divided, however, by a staircase in the middle leading to a small room above.
The highest point published by Allwood is the bedroom. A sloped ceiling can hit your head hard – at its highest, the length of the room is less than 5 meters.
The Allwood listing for a tiny house shows that the house comes in three main categories when it is delivered to you. Everything you need to build a tiny house comes in a packed package: wooden boards and floors, roof and floor boards, glass panels, nails and screws, and a lock for the door.
Kanga Room Systems
Allwood says “very little equipment is required.” For the interested buyer with little building experience, the package comes with “easy-to-use” instructions that should be easy to follow.
However, you may need outside expertise to build a tiny house. The mini house kit comes with floorboards, but no foundation building materials to keep the house stable and secure.
