Tiny House And Land For Sale – So I haven’t talked about it much lately because I’ve been busy, but I’ve decided to sell my farm near Deming NM that I’ve owned for almost 20 years. This unique little camping shelter is now parked on the property….it is part of the property.

It’s not a half-acre mega-ranch, but there are no neighbors in sight, so you could call it 1,000 acres. It has road access and you can drive up to the property (even without 4WD) and the views are quite stunning – especially the stars at night. And if you enjoy mountain biking, there are endless dirt and mud roads to explore.

The cabin has a direct view of the “Florida Mountains” – an elevation of about 4000 feet. Downtown is only 25 minutes (hotels, Walmart, lots of restaurants, lumber yard and more). Las Cruces and Silver City – two NM tourist destinations exactly an hour away. There are lots of cool state parks nearby (for example, Rock Hound State Park is right in Deming) and “City of Rocks” State Park (see photo of me bouldering there).
We recently built a prototype glamping cabin that is parked/stored in the lot (see set of photos) and is yours if you take the lot. It’s simple but funky/fun and well built and has a pull out bed inside (can easily add bunk beds instead).
The stuff in the cabin was several thousand despite the work, so for a small plot excursion (we camped there – it’s pretty awesome/peaceful) it’s reasonable and ready to go.
The cab is also on skids, so moving it is an option if you want to change its orientation or relocate it entirely. It would be easy to open the back wall (through the door) and add another room or legal bathroom to this camper. So far we have only used the toilet in the composting camp, which we have taken with us.
