My wife and I have been building, remodeling, and decorating homes for thirty years. As a general contractor, I am often asked about guest homes that are more expensive than custom builds but are more selective and attractive than recreational vehicles. Tiny houses have emerged as an economical option. However, height and width restrictions on public roads limit small houses to narrow spaces, low ceilings, and stairs to bedrooms. I wanted to make a small house that was not crowded. After experimenting with different configurations, the Corbett Canyon model emerged and North Coast Tiny Homes was born. Passionate about creating beautifully decorated, comfortable homes, whether permanent or temporary, we love working with clients to meet their needs and bring their vision to life.
We chose North Coast Tiny Houses to make our vacation, and it was a good choice! It was a pleasure working with Joe every month along the way. Joe worked diligently with us throughout the building process as we developed our plans, designs and location and how to position the house. She and Betsy did a great job on all the decorative details and the results were beautiful, yet functional and simple. When the Covid 19 came, we spent 5 wonderful weeks getting to know our Little House. These areas are not possible in a traditional small house but can be found in a house with a single-level floor plan and no expansion plan design. The house was very spacious and plenty for us and our guests. We have been waiting years for our tiny House, made by CCTH’s!

I am excited to write this tribute to Joe Pollon of Tiny Homes of the Central Coast for a few reasons. For one, Joe wasn’t just an inventor.. he was a visionary. He saw the need to create a senior living solution that was on the same level as a cost-effective living solution in CA. He took his expertise in contracting/building and designed a small single-level house, expanding it to provide more space and a drive system for support that could be moved to a permanent location or easily transported when needed. close it and put it in the truck. Interior lighting includes LED pendant lights, and black farmhouse-style shades in the kitchen, living room and bathroom. And there was a cedar beam outside the house.
Other features include a 40-year metal roof, smart LP siding, and a 30-year Diamond Coat paint warranty. Vinyl double hung windows, Rinnai propane tankless water heater.
