There is currently a unique camping shelter parked on the lot….which is built into the ground.

It’s not some half-acre ranch, but there are no neighbors in sight, so it might as well be called 1,000 acres. It also has road access and you can drive up to the lot (even without 4WD) and the views are truly stunning – especially the stars at night. The house overlooks the “Florida Hills” range that rises to nearly 4,000 feet. Downtown is also about 25 minutes away (hotels, Walmart, many restaurants, timber yard and more). Las Cruces and Silver City – two tourist destinations in New York that are EXACTLY an hour apart. The cabin alone had thousands of materials, not to mention labor, so all in all for a small vacation lot (we camped there – it’s pretty nice/peaceful) it’s reasonable and ready to go.

The cabin is also on slides/rails, so if you want to change direction or move it completely, it may be possible to move it. It would be easy to open the back wall (through a door) to add another room or a legitimate bathroom to this camp. For now, we only used the camp compost toilet we brought with us.
