My wife and I have been building, remodeling, and decorating homes for thirty years. As a general contractor, I often get asked questions about guest houses that are more expensive than custom construction, but more livable and attractive than recreational vehicles. Tiny houses have emerged as an economical option. However, height and width restrictions on public road travel limit smaller homes to tight spaces, low ceilings and stairs to bedrooms. I wanted to build a small house that was not crowded. After experimenting with different configurations, the Corbett Canyon model emerged and North Coast Tiny Homes was born.
