Tiny houses have become popular in recent years, either because of the rising cost of living or because they encourage minimalist living. Tiny houses can have your own property, even if they are only between 100 and 400 square feet in size.

But while building a functional home unit may seem like a daunting task, Amazon has stepped in to bring the hot millennial trend to the masses by making these tiny homes easy to buy and easy to build. There are more than two dozen options on Amazon for DIY tiny house kits, including a 113-foot cabin for $5,350 and a loft for $20,000.
Surprisingly, some listings on Amazon say that these tiny houses can be built in two days by two people.
Things To Consider Before Building A Tiny House Or He/she Shed
To get an idea of how to buy a tiny house on Amazon, check out this “vacation cabin” for sale on Amazon for almost $19,000:
This is one of the tiny houses for sale on Amazon – a self-build “vacation cabin” kit.
The all-wood house is advertised as a cabin rather than a complete house, perhaps because the tiny house is just bare materials and few features.
The small house is “large enough to serve as a summer house, granny flat, home office or even a stand-alone shop building,” the description reads.

A floor plan for a small house shows more about the specification. The setup is simple: three rooms on the 292-square-foot main floor and a loft bedroom upstairs.
The home also features a partially covered front deck, which is optional if you’re not feeling the wood floors outside.
Make use of small properties, and make houses easy to build, sparse installations. Without gas, it will be difficult to prepare the kitchen. To compensate for the lack of electricity, every room in the tiny house has at least one window for natural light.
To turn a cabin into a home, Allwood recommends adding electrical and internet connections, and insulation for cooler temperatures.

Allwood said only the “minimum tools needed”. For interested buyers with minimal building experience, the package comes with “easy-to-use” instructions that should be easy to follow.
You Can Build A Tiny House And Turn It Into Your Very Own Office Space
However, you may need outside expertise to build a tiny house. The tiny house kit comes with floorboards, but does not use materials to build a foundation that ensures the house is safe and stable.
Adding a foundation made of gravel or concrete can help give your home a stable foundation, especially if you’re trying to build a tiny house on grass (which can get wet when it rains) or on uneven ground.

But Amazon also sells other tiny houses in different sizes and designs. On the cheaper side, this 113-square-foot, one-bedroom cabin costs $5,350.
