According to him, “Yellow and blue is one of the most favorite combinations to use outside the house. Use bright pillows and colorful flowers in plantings that include yellow on the porch or patio. Cutler concludes that more intense yellow tones can be a designer’s best friend. In her opinion, “deep yellow almost vibrates with energy…this color can direct the eye into space and create drama and contrast that enlivens a room.”
